Issues with the underlying data should be directed to the original data owners; the relevant regulators are listed in each dataset’s guidance notes.

Use cases and limitations

Intended uses: Academic research, policy analysis, understanding sector patterns (geography, finances, employment), and cross-sector linkage analysis.

Limitations: No individual contact information is included; address fields in the Organisation Register are sourced from publicly available regulatory data. Detailed use cases and limitations are provided in each dataset’s guidance notes.
